Asansol Collegiate School, an independent C0-Education, English Bengali Medium Higher Secondary School, has been established in 2006 with an objective to impart academic and career oriented comprehensive education at the heart of Asansol. With the removal of Higher Secondary course from the various colleges of Asansol, a huge crisis of schools imparting higher education both in English and Bengali version had been created. The Asansol Collegiate School has aimed to fulfil this crisis. Further the management aim has been to cater to the needs of the students and to enable them to face competition all over.

With our previous batches, we are very proud to announce that we have been successful to a significant extent in achieving our objective. The results of the students and their overall performance in different fields have been a certificate for our hard work.

It gives me immense pride to welcome you to Asansol Collegiate School, Asansol, an English medium, co-educational institution affiliated to the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education and the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. From Nursery to Class XII, our school has been dedicated to nurturing young minds with academic excellence, discipline, and holistic development.
Our students have consistently brought laurels to the institution. The Higher Secondary Examination results have been 100% year after year, reflecting the commitment of our teachers and the hard work of our students. Notably, our school has produced state rank holders:
- 5th rank in West Bengal (2013)
- 10th rank in West Bengal (2017)
- 9th rank in West Bengal (2022)
Beyond board examinations, our students have excelled in competitive arenas such as IEEE, West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination, and All India Medical Entrance, securing commendable ranks and admissions to prestigious institutions. The Madhyamik Examination results have also been consistently 100%, further strengthening our reputation for academic excellence.

Since its inception, our institution has stood as a beacon of quality education in Asansol, nurturing young minds from Nursery to Class XII in a disciplined, English-medium, co-educational environment.
Affiliated to WBBSE and WBCHSE, our school is committed to academic excellence and holistic development. We believe that true education goes beyond textbooks—it shapes character, instills values, and prepares students to meet the challenges of tomorrow with confidence and integrity.
Our society, RICE, has a proud legacy of advancing education in the region. Alongside Asansol Collegiate School, it runs:
• Raniganj Institute of Information Technology (RIIT), established in 2001, offering BCA and BBA programs.
• A Computer Centre at Asansol Girls’ College, was provided specialized courses in Computer Science for Classes XI–XII and B.Com students from 1996 to 2006.
